What makes a restaurant in a manor house setting different?

The most striking thing is the room. The restaurant is located in the old main building with balcony doors that open onto the terrace and Lake Aspen below. So you’re not sitting in a venue with a glued-on view, but in a building that’s been built around the location.

The second thing is the tempo. We cook food in our own kitchen and rarely serve more than a couple of seatings per evening, which means that a dinner with us takes the time it needs. If you’re coming from Gothenburg, the trip here is only 20 minutes, so you can eat here without making a whole trip out of it.
