What is included in a manor house weekend?
In our manor package, accommodation, a three-course dinner with seasonal ingredients and a generous breakfast buffet are included. You can add entrance to Aspenäs Spa & Retreat or upgrade your room to Deluxe, Superior or suite. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is no later than 11:00 AM.
How far is it from Gothenburg?
Aspenäs Manor is located in Lerum, about 20 minutes from central Gothenburg. If you take the commuter train from Gothenburg Central Station towards Alingsås, you get off in Lerum after about 20 minutes. From there, a local bus goes to Aspenäs, or you can walk along the lake for 20–25 minutes.
Can you book a weekend without dinner?
Yes. We have packages that only include room and breakfast for those who prefer to plan their evening themselves. You can also book a table in the restaurant separately afterwards if you change your mind. Contact the reception at 0302-63 00 00 if you need help putting together the arrangement.
Is the spa included in the weekend package?
It depends on which package you choose. Our spa package includes entrance to Aspenäs Spa & Retreat, dinner and breakfast, while the manor package focuses on food and accommodation. You can always add spa entrance separately during your stay, subject to availability.
Is it possible to bring a dog?
Pets are welcome in the designated hotel room as well as in the Seaton Bistro restaurant on the ground floor. Outdoors, you are free to move about with your dog, and the area offers nice dog walking trails and paths to discover.
What beds are in the Aspenäs Manor’s new hotel rooms?
In our new hotel rooms in the Kårehagen estate, you sleep well in continental beds from Hilding Anders, with a focus on comfort and a good night's sleep.
Charge your car via PAIR RECHARGE
For electric vehicles, there are charging possibilities on site with a total of 5 charging posts where 10 cars can charge at the same time.
You charge your car with us by using the Pair Recharge app. Before your arrival, we recommend that you download the app, so that you can calmly prepare to charge your car.
In the Appstore and Google Play, you can easily download the PAIR recharge app, click here to go directly to the download page. Follow the instructions in the app and create your user account. Pay easily in the app.
The charging boxes provide 22kW. When charging two electric vehicles at the same time, the charging boxes provide 11kW per charging point.
For normal charging, you must always use a Type 2 charging cable.

How quickly can we get a quote and a proposal for the setup?
We usually get back to you very quickly with a first proposal, often on the same day or within 2 working days. Our goal is to make planning easy and smooth through clear layouts, price proposals, and available dates from the start.
Are there group rooms and breakout areas?
Yes, we have good opportunities for group rooms and breakout areas. We can combine different premises and areas depending on group size and layout, which makes it easy to split up during, for example, workshops, training sessions or strategy meetings.
What is included in the entrance to Aspenäs Spa & Retreat?
The entrance gives you access to an IR sauna with sea view, a steam sauna and a dry sauna, rain shower, cold shower and foot bath. You also get access to the relaxation and lounge area, the bar with snacks and drinks, as well as Lake Aspen for a dip. Fruit, games, parking, and a charging station are included in the visit.
What are the spa’s hours of operation?
Aspenäs Spa & Retreat is open every day from 09.00–17.00. Book your spa entrance in advance through our booking system, so you can be sure to get a spot on the day you want to come. If you want to eat at the restaurant on the same day, you book a table separately, as table bookings are in a separate system.
Can you swim in Lake Aspen?
Yes, the lake is a stone's throw from the spa facility and you can access the water directly outside. Many guests alternate between the sauna and a refreshing dip during their visit. Lake Aspen is one of Lerum's most peaceful bodies of water and is also suitable for walks along the shoreline all year round.
Is it possible to combine spa with overnight stay and dinner?
Yes, our spa package includes admission to Aspenäs Spa & Retreat, a three-course dinner at the manor restaurant, and a breakfast buffet the next morning. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is no later than 11:00 AM. You can book the package directly in our booking engine.
How do I get here from Gothenburg?
From Gothenburg Central Station, take the commuter train towards Alingsås and get off in Lerum, a journey of about 20 minutes. From there, you can choose a local bus to Aspenäs or a 20-25 minute walk along the lake. If you drive a car, there are approximately 100 free parking spaces and five charging posts.
WHAT SETS A COUNTRY MANOR SPA APART FROM A CITY HOTEL SPA
An urban spa places you in an indoor environment where all the experience is contained within four walls. Here, instead, you meet Lake Aspen right outside, a 200-year-old main building, and greenery surrounding the entire facility. So, you're not just changing your environment for a few hours - you're changing your pace.
Distance also matters when you choose. We are 20 minutes from central Gothenburg and 30 minutes from Landvetter, which means you can come here for an evening or a morning without planning an entire trip.
Combine the spa visit with dinner or an overnight stay
Many guests extend their day. Our restaurant with a sea view serves à la carte from 6:00 PM, and our chefs work with seasonal ingredients. Book a table in advance if you want to eat on the same evening as you bathe.
If you want to stay overnight, you can choose from our hotel rooms and suites, from simpler standard rooms to suites with bathtubs and sea views. Our spa package combines admission, a three-course dinner, and a breakfast buffet in the same booking.

Where is the restaurant?
We are located at Aspenäs Herrgård, Seatons Allé in Lerum, with Lake Aspen as our closest neighbor. From Gothenburg Central Station, the commuter train towards Alingsås takes you to Lerum in about 20 minutes. If you drive a car, there are around 100 free parking spaces and five charging posts directly at the facility.
Do I have to stay at the hotel to eat here?
No, the restaurant is open to everyone. You can book a table for both lunch and dinner without staying overnight, and the breakfast buffet is also open to external guests. Many people from Lerum and the Gothenburg area come here just for a dinner with a sea view or a coffee break in the manor café.
Can you adjust the food to accommodate allergies or special diets?
Yes. We serve fixed menus but of course take into account allergies, vegetarian and vegan diets as well as other customized meals. Contact us in advance and the kitchen will compose something that suits you. Please let us know your needs already when booking so we have time to prepare.
What times do you serve food?
Breakfast is served every morning and lunch on weekdays from 11:30 - 13:30. Dinner starts at 18:00.
Is it possible to book the entire restaurant for a party?
Yes. Seaton's Bistro can accommodate up to about 30 people, and the wine cellar can accommodate smaller groups in a secluded environment. For larger parties, it is possible to book the entire or parts of the manor restaurant. Contact bokning@aspenasherrgard.com for a quote and suggestions on arrangements.
What makes a restaurant in a manor house setting different?
The most striking thing is the room. The restaurant is located in the old main building with balcony doors that open onto the terrace and Lake Aspen below. So you're not sitting in a venue with a glued-on view, but in a building that's been built around the location.
The second thing is the tempo. We cook food in our own kitchen and rarely serve more than a couple of seatings per evening, which means that a dinner with us takes the time it needs. If you're coming from Gothenburg, the trip here is only 20 minutes, so you can eat here without making a whole trip out of it.
Book a table in the restaurant
We recommend that you book in advance, especially on Fridays and Saturdays when the evening menu attracts the most guests. Booking is done in our booking system and takes a few minutes.
If you have allergies or eat vegetarian or vegan, that's okay. We serve set menus but adapt the meal - let us know in advance so we can make sure you get something that suits you.
Company, party and private gatherings
For smaller and more secluded events, Seaton's Bistro is suitable, which accommodates approximately 30 people. Our wine cellar accommodates smaller groups in an atmospheric environment, and for larger parties, it is possible to book the entire or parts of the manor restaurant.

Make the most of your visit
Many combine dinner with something more. You can stay overnight in our hotel rooms and suites and wake up to the breakfast buffet the next day, or add a few hours at Aspenäs Spa & Retreat before dinner.
If you want to get some exercise first, the Gotaleden hiking trail passes right by the manor, and Lake Aspen invites you to both swimming and walking along the beach.
How many people can you accommodate at the conference?
We welcome everything from small meetings for 2 people to larger conferences with up to approximately 240 participants, depending on the arrangement and chosen venue. In addition to our meeting capacity, we also offer around 100 hotel rooms in direct connection to the facility. During your stay, well-prepared meals are served in our restaurant, along with homemade pastries for coffee breaks.

Easy to travel to Aspenäs Herrgård by public transportation
Getting to Aspenäs Herrgård from Gothenburg is both easy and convenient. From Gothenburg Central Station, take the commuter train towards Alingsås and get off in Lerum. The journey takes about 20 minutes.
From Lerum station, you can either take a local bus to Aspenäs or walk the beautiful road along Lake Aspen. The walk takes about 20-25 minutes and offers nice views along the way.

What sizes are the meeting rooms?
We have meeting rooms of all sizes, from small meetings for 2 people up to 240 people.
What does the booking process look like?
Our coordinators will help you create the best setup for you, ready to answer and provide you with a quick proposal based on your wishes and needs, from food preferences, technology, seating, and menu suggestions. We are quick to get back to you with prices, setup, and possible dates. We know this with meetings!

We direct and tailor your meeting and event together with you according to your wishes. The possibilities are endless in our historic setting. All meals are served in our restaurant, everything from breakfast, lunch to dinner. Coffee breaks during the workday are served in the lounges connected to your meeting room.
