FAQ

What food and drink should we offer? How many guests can we invite? When can guests check in? We have compiled information in alphabetical order that will certainly answer a lot of the questions you may have about your big day. And don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.  

ARRIVAL 

Many of our bridal couples choose to arrive with their guests the night before the wedding party. In order for us to keep our restaurant and bar open for you the evening before, a minimum of 40 overnight guests must be staying. On the day of arrival, you will have access to the hotel rooms from 2 pm unless otherwise agreed. On the big day, you will have access to your party venue as agreed (at the earliest from 10 am).

ALLERGIES AND SPECIAL DIETS

Are there vegetarians, vegans, pregnant women, allergy sufferers or religious considerations among your guests? Naturally, we arrange menus for guests who want special diets. 

BAR

During your wedding party, our bar will be open and staffed by our staff. Last orders at the bar are at 1.30 am, with the manor closing at 2 am. Please note that you are not allowed to bring your own drinks to our lounges.

ACCOMMODATION

We have 112 hotel rooms, 70 of which are double rooms and 42 single. Guests staying overnight have access to their rooms from 2 pm on the day of check-in (unless otherwise agreed). Breakfast is included in the accommodation price. Check-out is 11 am, after which the hotel closes.

TABLE DECORATIONS 

For weddings, we always use light linen table coverings, linen napkins and candles. You arrange the decoration of the party rooms and table decorations yourself. 

TABLE POSITIONING 

The table positions for the wedding dinner depend on the number of guests and your wishes. Together with the wedding coordinator, you decide which option suits you best. You order table placement cards, maps and any party programmes yourself.

BRIDAL BOUQUET

We are happy to contact florists for the wedding bouquet and floral decorations.   

WEDDING COORDINATOR

When you choose to get married at Aspenäs Herrgård, free consultation with our wedding coordinator Annika Johansson, who is a certified wedding coordinator through Bröllopsakademien wedding academy, is included. Together, you plan your dream wedding based on your wishes. If you don't have a detailed picture in mind, you can create one together. Annika will give you tips on suppliers that you can contact and make sure you stay within your budget. She helps with suggestions for table arrangements, creates a timetable for the day and is happy to give tips and ideas about the ceremony, decorations and options. Annika is your safe hand through all your choices, both small details and large decisions.

DRINKS

Our wedding package includes a wine package with one glass for the starter, one glass for the main course with topping-up and one glass of dessert wine. Other drinks such as coffee with liqueur, champagne for bridal toasts can be purchased.

OWN FOOD AND DRINK 

For weddings at Aspenäs Herrgård, you can book our wedding package, which includes food and drink. It is not permitted to bring your own drink as we hold the alcohol licence. It is also not permitted to bring your own food, with the exception of a wedding cake. 

PARTY VENUES

The manor restaurant. Our beautiful manor dining room with lake view is a beautiful place for the wedding breakfast. It can accommodate up to 130 dining guests. The venue can be rearranged for dancing in the evening.

The party tent is a beautiful place for the wedding breakfast. The tent is a beautiful white, with windows facing the lake, ceiling lighting and wooden floor. There is space here for around 120 guests, depending on the type of table and positioning you want.

Terrace and garden Our terrace has a wonderful view of the large lawn that stretches all the way down to the lake. Here, you'll find café furniture for mingling and coffee breaks under the open sky. A perfect place for guests to toast the bridal couple. The manor's large garden and surrounding nature are wonderful settings for wedding photography and activities such as games or walks. 

The bar is located in its own room next to the manor dining room inside the manor house. Our bartenders can serve everything from summery cocktails to various sorts of beer and wine.

The manor houses several beautiful historical rooms. The upstairs lounge has a large balcony with a view of the lake, which is a popular place for the bridal couple to toast with their guests on the terrace below. The wedding cake is often served in the lounge.

The farmhouses All hotel rooms are located in our four independent farmhouses, which are located a few metres from the manor house. In addition to hotel rooms, the farmhouses have lounge areas for overnight guests, as well as sofa groups and café areas with tables and chairs. 

PHOTOGRAPHS 

Don't forget to immortalise your big day. We have many photographers we can recommend. These include LocksenVisuals and Mia Modigh Westlund, who took most of the wedding photos you can see on our website. 

HAIRDRESSING AND MAKE-UP 

The bride and groom have access to rooms before the marriage ceremony to prepare together with their bridesmaids, bestman and ushers, hairdresser and make-up artist. We are happy to give recommendations for hairdressers and make-up artists.

GUEST LIST

Our venues can accommodate 60-130 guests. The manor dining room can accommodate up to 130 dining guests. The party tent can accommodate up to 120 dining guests. During weeks 28-32 we arrange wedding parties for a minimum of 80 guests. For simpler wedding breakfasts for smaller parties, please contact us. 

You send your own wedding party invitation to your guests. Don't forget to set an RSVP date in good time so that you can notify us of any dietary requirements and the number of guests for a wedding breakfast and overnight stay.

MENU 

The package price includes a three-course wedding breakfast from our menu. The package price also includes a tasting session where you as a bridal couple have the opportunity to meet us on site and taste all the dishes, including recommended drinks. You then choose the starter, main course and dessert you want for your wedding breakfast.

Our kitchen with chef Magnus Eriksson carefully composes all the menus with the best ingredients. Whatever your menu choice, we promise that your wedding breakfast will be something exceptional.   

We naturally organise requests for special diets such as vegetarian diets or food allergies. 

MUSIC

The music entertainment is an important part of the wedding party, it can move guests to tears during the wedding ceremony and make a memory of the first dance. What's best for you? Your own playlist, DJ, singer or live band? We would be happy to advise you on our favourite partners and organise your enquiry through us.

RSVP 

Don't forget to set an RSVP date in good time so that you can notify us of any dietary requirements and the number of people. 

SERVING STAFF 

Our wedding package includes serving staff who are available until the party in the restaurant dining room ends at 2 am. 

CLEANING 

Our wedding package includes cleaning of the venue. 

WEDDING SEASON

We host wedding parties throughout the year. Contact us to find out what wedding dates we have free.  

TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT 

We organise the loan of a projector and screen during the wedding breakfast. Other technical equipment is not included in the package price, but we are happy to help you rent the equipment you need, such as music system, speakers and lights for the stage and dance floor. 

CAKE 

We don't bake any wedding cakes at the manor, but we can help with our best recommendations for suppliers.  

MARRIAGE CEREMONY

Choose for yourself whether you want your wedding in a beautiful location in nature, such as the manor house's garden, by the manor house's own jetty or in our party tent. If you want a church wedding, there are several beautiful churches less than 20 minutes away. You book your wedding officiator yourselves.
